Movie day

So, one day, Mr Charles was giving his usual lecture and was talking about silhouette, he showed us a clip and couple of pictures to give us an idea how a silhouette should be done. But, that's not all he did to make us understand more about silhouette, we were given the idea to go to a movie to find out more about silhouette!! But of course, after the movie we have to do something in return. which is to make a comic of silhoutte in greyscale, as usual....=(

As we were given a few choices of movies to choose from, I have decided on the latest James Bond movie, Skyfall!

cool isn't it?

As we all know, many silhouette  can be found in the James Bond movie series, like this famous one which everyone must have seen before......

You can't left out sexy lady in James Bond, can you?

Ok, since I'm watching Skyfall this time, I'm gonna talk more about it. What caught my attention and leave an impression on me in the movie is the part where James went to China to find out more about the villain behind the bombing of the headquarter. He came to a building and went up the floors to face the evil guy. When they were fighting, this is what made me grasp.
very BEAUTIFUL!

Other than that, this is also quite a powerful scene, with the fire behind it, it gives the viewers a knowledge about the villain vengence.

Of course my research is not all based on the movie, since we are doing about comic of silhouette, I did find some of the examples of how to draw a comic.

silhouette is best to be coloured contrast to its background, means that if you colour your figure in dark, your background must be in a much lighter tone, if not it will be hard to look at the silhouette.
